I met with my friend Jerome Bouvier yesterday.  He had just finished carving a Haida wolf on the Native American flute he was making for me.  It is beautiful...actually the Native American flute is a beautiful instrument itself.  It speakes to the heart a lot like the hollow sound of the Esraj from India.

Jerome is a fascinating person.  He has overcome some huge life challenges and is an amazing youth worker and motivational speaker. You should google him!

Well...Cheryl, Jaden and I are off to Chinatown this afternoon.  Jaden has always had an interest in Asian culture and wants to go to Japan for his next vacation.  We won't make it there this year so Chinatown will have to do.  I'm sure we'll find some interesting things there.  You know I'll be on the lookout for some rare (polysacchride free) vegetable! Lol
