Water

The 8 Glasses a Day Myth

Everyday normal kidneys will filter about 6 cups of water out of the body. Kidneys can filter more but then they have to work harder. This includes all fluids. A bowl of soup, salad and a glass of water? Probably add up to 2-3 glasses. The problem is when we go over 6 glasses the kidneys either work overtime putting a huge strain on them or the fluid is retained in the body. The extra fluid is forced back into the blood stream to be eliminated through the skin. When the excess water is not eliminated through the skin from lack of perspiration or exercise it is retained in the skin (it's from what I call a stagnate lymphatic system). As more and more water comes to the skin to be eliminated, the skin begins to bloat up. The extra waste water becomes stagnate and toxic. It can sit there for a day, month or even up to a year or more which will eventually turn this waste water into mucus, which is a solid form of waste water. Although we think we have put on some fat we actually have hardened mucus under the skin. When enough of this gelinous tissue hardens and accumulates we are able to see it as cellulite. Only fresh water can be perspired through the skin. In order to eliminate cellulite you have to limit yourself to less than 6 cups of water a day and you have to heat-up to break-up the deposits by sauna or hot tub and massage.

So...if you feel you need to drink that amount of water make sure it is evaporated properly through perspiration and try not to tax your kidneys to much.

Ok yes...and lets not forget the 'Vitamin Supplement' myth!

I disagree with taking synthetic vitamins. Don’t waste your money...the body just doesn’t absorb and metabolize them properly and all you end up with is very expensive urine. Take Vitamin B for example. The amount of Vitamin B’s in 3 Avocadoes (the amount I eat daily) is 5 times the amount found in a Vitamin B complex supplement. Yet...when I eat Avocadoes...it doesn’t turn the color of my urine like it does when I take a vitamin B supplement. Even when you have a Vitamin B injection, it will still change the color of your urine.

The father of medicine 'Hippocrates' said it best..."Let your food be your medicine...and your medicine be your food"
